Drywood Termites

Termites can cause severe structural damage to a home. Keeping your lawn free of them is way to protect your place against infestation. Follow these steps for an anti-termite lawn treatment.

1)Apply a border of gravel between your lawn and the base of your house.

2)Keep the soil between your lawn and your house as dry as possible.

3)Apply a layer of plastic under the grass and soil that slopes away from the foundation.

4)Hire a professional company to install termite bait systems in your lawn. Contract with a company that monitors the bait stations four times a year.

5)Move all wood off your lawn.
